Forsa Chicken (Team Core Investments No 48 (Pty) Ltd t/a Forsa) was established in 2018 with a simple vision: build a competitive, end‑to‑end poultry value chain that serves South African markets with quality and consistency. Our founders bring decades of experience in poultry and business development, and we’ve grown with a focus on standards, supply reliability, and customer relationships.
The Forsa × Zig Trading connection
One of our group’s established businesses is Zig Trading, operating since 1998 in Germiston, with factories in Roodepoort and Brits. Zig Trading’s well‑known Below Zero frozen beverages brand reflects the group’s depth in FMCG production and distribution.
Forsa supplies Cheeky Chicks chicken products to Zig Trading, who distribute to wholesalers, retailers and food‑service providers countrywide. Together we deliver factory‑to‑door quality at wholesale scale.
